Take me away
Too prove to myself I could do it, I went on a bike ride through Sweden, from east to west. About 500km of asphalt, fire, wood, wind and water. During my pauses I collected some scenery seen from the roads. After I finished my journey I have continued looking for nice, bikefriendy, backdrops.
"A Project in Motion"
Interview with Fotosidan Magasin - http://fotosidan.se/cldoc/ett-projekt-i-rullning

How did you get the idea?
I got it for free when I, an early Saturday morning, decided to bike from Stockholm to Gothenburg (about 300 miles) on my vintage celeste-colored racing bike. I love nature's patterns and the amazing light everything is bathing in sometimes, although it can be a bit many sunsets and double rainbows today. In the context of a journey and the many ways you can include a vintage bikes pure forms in it, I think it gets a little more fun. Still, the images are only secondary. They are really just the result of my travels and things I happen to see that I want to remember.

Why only the bike, and not the rider as well?
Due to the lack of a tripod and the willingness to do self-portraits, I feel that the bike itself is a great synonym for both myself and that I am going somewhere.

How long did you look to find good places?
Places show themselves as I cycle past, so the search is quite automatic. It never ceases to surprise how much you see when you cycle on Swedish roads all day.

What gear have you used?
Just my iPhone with Instagram. Very handy for this type of live coverage.

What are your future plans for this project?
I do not plan to quit cycling, so I do not plan to stop filling in the series. However, it would be fun to put together the whole thing at some point, if I find a good way to do it. I have some plans for an exhibition, probably a little bit different than the big-pictures-on-a-gallery-wall thing.
